this picture is lovely… as are your gratitudes. Thanks so much for your kind thoughts over at Imogen’s space… it’s really hard not being able to hold her right now, but I will take your words about skin-to-skin holding to heart as soon as we are able! Until then, I always try to find a shoulder or foot to rub under the swaddle–it’s good for her to stay warm, but also good to be close.
We both have much to be thankful for, don’t we? :) Take courage, Dear Mama. Even your little touches are helping her to thrive. I’ll be praying that you’ll be holding her soon!
